The Face

Hmmm... Why the face? Well, this weevil actually reminds me of B1 and B2, if you have an idea of who they are. It's just the red B1 and B2, but without the mouth. Isn't it? (^_^)

Anyone of you who got lost and stumbled upon this fairytale like blog, by now have noticed how different my titles are. Well, this Curious Lady here is a fairytale like thing-y person. As I have said, I'm not an entomologist and a botanist but love taking photos related to that science thing. My knowledge is very generic, and if it happens that you, yes, you... Who is reading this very word now, is someone scientific and brainy, can share and sprinkle a bit  of your scientific dust on my earthly findings... I mean encounters, insects, and plants. I'll be glad. (^_^)/

Okay, back to this cute red face again. I found this on a stair. I almost stamped on it, but with these keen eyes that are wired to see tiny creatures, I spotted it, just like that. Good thing that it wasn't that dark yet, or I can't take a decent photo on it. It was quarter to five in the afternoon when I found this. Isn't it cute?... but beware, they are dangerous to some plants, particularly to palms. Palm trees that end up dead are caused by this insect. Naks! Getting scientific now, eh!... Well, this knowledge was shared with me by my friend.
