🀳🏼 Lizard

I find this cute and thought of making it a project. Done this last week but without eyes. Got no safety eyes but have to finish it anyway, so I made my version of the eyes this afternoon and attached it. Not bad. πŸ˜‡ Love your work.

Thank you very much Canal Crochet for generously sharing tutorial and written pattern.

🀳🏼Lion

Another amigurumi from Canal crochet, a lion. This project gave me a challenging experience. Since I don't have safety eyes and should be attached along as the head is finished and filled, I just put pins as  "marker" but after attaching the nose and ears, later that I noticed that I attached it into an inverted position. I have to detach it and put it together again.

For the hair, I just copied the style from the first lion I made because I didn't have the frizzy yarn as used in the tutorial.

Thank you Canal Crochet for the tutorial and for the written pattern.

This is my first lion, done on November 2016 from Sharon Ojala. Thank you for the tutorial Sharon.

🀳🏼 Elephant

First impression, " I don't think I can make this project", but [scream] waahh!... " I did it! ".

At first glance, my brain had difficulties absorbing and processing how this elephant body is made in one continuous loop and standing in four feet. Crazy.

This may be ordinary to crochet geeks but it's amazing to me. My first amigurumi standing in four legs. Yey! Woohoo!

Thank you so much Canal Crochet for the tutorial and for the written pattern. Learn crochet now, it's very satisfying, fulfilling and the best part, it's fun.

🀳🏼 Pig

Lechon?.... Naa.. πŸ˜‚ This should have been pink but I don't have that color and now it looks like a roasted pig. πŸ˜›πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‚Just wanted to make something progressive and this is it, doing one project at a time. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‡

Muchas gracias Canal Crochet for sharing tutorial on this pig. Mine turns out roasted.

Finished on 29March2020.

🀳🏼 Lobster

Hmm.. πŸ€”Lobster?... o murag lobster? πŸ˜‚
Thank you Karabouts for sharing this cute lobster.

Finished on 25March2020, minus the eyes.

🀳🏼 Bear

This is my first Amigurumi project, done in October 2016. The experience was exciting, especially when attaching the body parts together. It was my first time using a crochet needle then. It was challenging. Thank you Sharon Ojala for this wonderful tutorial. I just used yarn for the eyes here and cross-stitched yarn in the nose.

Update: Just learned making eyes today. Here's the bear with the new eyes.

Finished on October2020.

🀳 Dog

I've wanted to crochet a dog and had a hard time finding a free pattern,  but "at last" I found one. I was excited doing it, and the finished product gave me a good laugh. It doesn't look like as it is supposed to be a labrador. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

To me, it resembled our "aspin," Winter. Maybe I did not stuff the head well. The ears were also a bit bigger. I increased some rows in the ears because I thought it was too small, but all in all, it did look like a dog. Satisfied. πŸ˜‚

Still, I don't have safety eyes; sew buttons for the meantime.

Thank you  thelabradorsite for sharing this free pattern. Check out their site for more cute labrador. πŸ˜‡

Winter, asong pinoy (philippine dog).

🀳 Chicken

I find this cute and thought of making it a project. Thanks to Amigurumi Space for sharing this chicken crochet free pattern.

I don't have safety eyes here again, so I just used darker yarn for the eyes.

🀳 A Little Fish

Making a new label/ title today and I'll call it "Nature Stuffed."
Here I'll be sharing my crochet projects on animals or plants.

My interest in crochet started five or six years ago. It began with simple tutorials I followed on YouTube. The crocheting is pretty much self-taught. I just learned it through videos. It was purely determination that I was able to make crochet stuff.

At the beginning, I tried learning different stitches and gradually making simple "projects." It's an off-on hobby thing, actually.

Three or four years ago, I got my attention on crocheting stuff on 3D,  and that's when I learned about Amigurumi. Amigurumi is a craft that originated in Japan that uses crochet (or knit) stitches to create cute, small, stuffed items such as animals and other characters.

With recent quarantine in our place due to the coronavirus, my crocheting curiosity got back on again. Since I love the beauty of nature, I decided to make a project, one at a time,  and create Amigurumi relating to nature and share it here in my journal.

For my first post, I would like to share this fish from Amilovesgurumi.

Many thanks to Amilovesgurumi for sharing this fish. I had fun making it. Though I didn't have the exact materials for the project, I still have managed to create this fish. Since I don't have safety eyes, I used buttons instead.
